Kia ora, my name is Zoe and I provide a loving, home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home in the Islington area of Blenheim.
My teaching values centre around supporting tamariki to develop strong language and communication skills. I love using singing, conversation, and meaningful interactions to help children express themselves, build confidence, and learn how to relate to others. Through play-based experiences, I encourage exploration, experimentation, curiosity, kindness, and positive social skills such as sharing and taking turns.
My experience includes parenting and working as a home-based educator since April 2025. I am currently working towards my Level 4 Early Childhood Education qualification to further support my teaching practice.
My point of difference is how active and engaged I am with the children in my care. I love getting out for daily walks and providing a wide range of hands-on experiences both indoors and outdoors. These include arts and crafts, baking, river walks, music groups, parks, nature play, messy play, and extended outdoor play. My home offers a welcoming indoor–outdoor flow, supporting children to explore freely and confidently.
I look forward to creating meaningful learning experiences for the tamariki in my care.
