The Best Decision

My hubby and I have thoroughly enjoyed sending our son Louie to Nurture@Home each week. People all warned us about going to ‘in-home care’, saying things like he won’t get used to lots of other children, etc., etc., but NO Way! We have found it to be the best decision! Children get more one-on-one with their educator, and they do spend time with other children at numerous outings. He always came home telling us what adventures they had got up to! Thanks again to everyone at Nurture@Home and his Educator Ashleigh. Louie has been well prepared for school and is settling into school with no problem!

This was so important to me as I just had a new baby and was so worried about how my daughter would get on with so many changes happening.

The experiences they get with nurture at home is awesome, such a cool environment for our tamariki with lots of exciting activities. I love how they experience time with their familiar small groups and get the chance to experience learning with large groups of tamariki too. The communication between parent and educator is such an underrated part of this childcare service. I love reading the learning updates from her teacher and seeing the photos of my daughter experiencing new things, learning, making friends and having fun. Definitely recommend placing your child with one of the awesome home based educators that work for Nurture at Home. I couldn’t be happier”

The best team to work with absolutely! I became an Educator with Nurture@Home because my heart drummed to the same beat as the philosophy of these beautiful people. Now my every day is filled nurturing with quality care for the precious tamariki and their whanau I am privileged to be a part of. They have exceeded my expectations

I recently joined the Nurture@Home team as an Educator because their philosophy falls close to my heart. I feel they have exceeded my expectations in terms of support, subsidies for families, professional development and regular group experiences (Playschool and NatureFocus etc). I feel that these experiences contribute to providing a rich programme for the children and an opportunity to develop networks with other Educators, Nurturing and educate children in my home is such a pleasure with Nurture@Home.

Nurture@Home are supportive and encouraging and always on hand to assist me. I find the communication excellent and the ability to stay in the loop with what is happening to be of ease. My Visiting Teacher always comes prepared for our monthly visits, with loads of handouts and feedback for me to consider.
