Visiting Teacher
Kirsty is another valued Nurture@Home Visiting Teacher who is a fully qualified and registered teacher, holding a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). Kirsty has been working in a variety of roles in the childhood sector with 20 years’ plus experience. Prior to starting her degree, she enjoyed ten years with her local Playcentre where her youngest child attended in her early years and her journey as a kaiako began. Kirsty is passionate about providing a nature-inspired learning approach, aligning beautifully with our own Nurture philosophy. Originally from Auckland, Kirsty and her partner raised their family of three in Golden Bay and have been living in Stoke for the past ten years. Kirsty enjoys spending precious time with family and friends, especially sharing her love of the outdoors, and Kirsty’s interests include gardening, music, beach walks, cycling the local trails, yoga and spending time with treasured grandchildren. Kirsty feels so privileged to be working as part of the leadership team for Nurture@Home supporting quality childcare and education.
