Gemma – Trained

[ Educator for: Richmond ]

Hi, my name is Gemma from Nurture@Home, quality education and home childcare. I offer you and your child a boutique and highly professional service.  I hold a National Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care and would love to be able to support your childcare needs. I offer an extensive programme of activities for children and love to watch their delight as they develop and learn new skills.

I believe in providing all children with a gentle, fun-loving and supportive environment that encourages learning and development around the children’s/tamariki interests. I am a qualified Nanny/Early Childhood Educator who strongly incorporates the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whariki into my programme.

Attending my programme is enjoyable for all children/tamariki past and present and I like to work closely with families/whanau to ensure they get the best from my service. I attend weekly playschools and love to offer the children lots of natural resources, treasure walks, our extra special mud kitchen, & natural craft etc. I am a loving mum with a keen interest in Natural/Gentle/Attachment parenting.

As a family we love travelling to new places together.  Music is a prominent feature in our home – I play the piano and my husband plays and enjoys a variety of instruments and music.

Family Reference:

This letter enthusiastically recommends Gemma Burke of Nurture@Home Childcare and Education. Gemma provided home-based childcare for our 17-month-old daughter, Ailish, for a period of 7 months. Gemma provides home-based childcare in a warm, home environment. She excels at meeting infants and toddlers developmental needs. Due to the attention that Gemma devoted to our daughter, Ailish developed many skills and a specific love of learning to identify people and objects. In addition, her social skills, relative to her respective age, were increasingly positive. Gemma’s house is full of music, dancing, warmth, joy and a happy environment. Also, her home-based care reinforced respect and care for others. This is evident in the caring, respectful way that our daughter treats other children. In fact, Ailish is going to miss Gemma and her lovely home as we are moving to Australia. Gemma provided our daughter with life learning and we highly recommend Gemma’s home-based childcare.

Sincerely,

Vinitha & Ginuraj Perumpananickal-Sebastian
