Kia ora, my name is Ebony and I provide a loving home-based childcare service in Renwick. I believe it is important to provide children with a calm, safe and fun environment where they feel free to express their unique personalities with a consistent and understanding adult.
I have been working with children for over 15 years and hold a Bachelor of Teaching in ECE and a current first aid certificate. After relieving and working in a variety of centres I was drawn back to home-based care and learning which fits with my values and philosophy of small group size and one on one meaningful teaching experiences.
I provide children with a calm, safe and fun environment with experiences that are meaningful which inspire exploration and expression. I am a person who is calm kind and creative and I love music and singing, books, arts and crafts, nature, gardening, dancing and exercise, baking, and messy play. I also know the benefits and importance of quiet chillout time too, so this is all part of my programme with the children in my care. I really look forward to meeting your family!
