Kia ora, my name is Roslyn I provide a loving home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home in Brightwater. I believe children learn best when they are given the guidance to do things for themselves.
I enjoy working in my role as a home based educator and have also worked with children for out of school care too. I have completed my level 4 certificate in early childhood education and care and like to take up opportunities to further develop knowledge in early childhood education.
I hope the children and their families that come into my care will become an extension of my home and family during their time with me. My home and outdoor area are very large but we also live really close by to the numerous parks and reserves that Brightwater has readily available for us to explore and we love to get out and adventure.
We currently attend Brightwater playcentre, Mini Movers Music group, Nurture@Home Playschool and gymnastics and I offer preparation visits for children transitioning to school. I love to offer these out of home learning experiences to the children who join my service. My home is well resourced with plenty of activities and toys both indoors and out.
