Hi my name is Jilly from Nurture@Home, quality home childcare. I am based in Renwick providing an environment full of fun activities where children feel safe and supported to learn.
One thing I enjoy and find very important when working with tamariki is watching and supporting them as they discover and learn new things. I love that through home-based care supporting tamariki can be more focused on the individual tamaiti (child’s) interests as I have lower ratios which enables me to accommodate each individual. The bond between the Kaiako (Educator) and tamaiti also makes each learning experience that little bit more special.
I have completed the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Care and have plenty of experience in childcare including raising my own children. I provide a learning environment that is child-led and relevant to the children’s group and individual interests, underpinned by the special “Nana” experience.
