Kia ora, my name is Carrie and I provide a loving home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home, quality education and home childcare in the lovely community of Witherlea.
I believe every child is a very precious individual and that the child’s quality learning is to grow healthy in mind, body and spirit, being confident and secure in their sense of belonging. I believe that each child is a valued participator in society and my home-based education programme will enable them to grow their early years’ steps of learning and curiosity with enjoyment and confidence. I have extensive experience working with young children and offer a safe, warm and comfortable home for your child.
We have a huge vegetable garden, fruit trees and a large backyard to grow the children’s motor skill abilities and outdoor games with parks and walkways close by too. The weekly Nurture@Home activities of Nurture Playschools, and outings are also a big part of our social learning programme. Activities are enthusiastically offered throughout the week, incorporating music, dance, nature play, messy play, creativity with arts and crafts, motor-skill activities, baking, carpentry, story-time, family play and recognition of alphabet, numbers, colour and shapes. We also have chickens. I look forward to meeting you.
