Hi, I’m Becks from Nurture@Home. I offer quality home childcare and education-based from my own home in Brightwater. My personal philosophy is reflective of the Pikler approach as many of the ideas that it encompasses resonate with my upbringing and personal identity and I am drawn to the Pikler approach because it creates a nurturing, warm environment that fosters a sense of wellbeing and belonging.
I am a trained early childhood teacher holding a degree in early childhood education with over seven years’ experience working in ECE. I have sound knowledge in working with children who have additional needs and am confident using Te Reo in my learning programme.
My partner and I, with our two Jack Russells, live right next door to a playground and nearby to the wonderful Snowden’s Bush. Children attending my service get to experience messy play, arts and crafts, Nurture organised events, reading, baking and so much more!
