Kia Ora, my name is Nikita and I provide a loving home-based childcare service in Stoke through Nurture@Home.
I am passionate about caring for children and helping them learn about and explore the world around them. I believe that giving the children the freedom to discover their imagination and create things from a place of excitement and play, all while making sure they are happy, healthy and having fun is the primary fundamental of early childhood education. It’s important for children to learn how to communicate, play, share and connect with others as well as helping others in their learning environment. Through this they learn compassion, love, kindness and empathy. It is good to learn to have an understanding and loving heart from a young age! When interacting with children I ensure that they feel comfortable and safe to be able to express themselves fully. These young years are an important stage of life and must be given a lot of care, patience, love and nurturing to set them up for the best years ahead.
I am undertaking the Level 4 Certificate in early childhood education and care. I have had a lot of experience babysitting for friends and family, and I run a dog walking/sitting service. I look forward to making a career for myself out of these two areas that I am passionate about.
I have a calm but fun, gentle and youthful energy which helps children to bond and feel comfortable with me to be themselves and to get and enjoy the most out of their time with me. I love to see children thrive in a nurturing environment and to be excited to try new things and explore the world around them. I take children along to NatureFocus each Tuesday, and offer many different arts, crafts, books, instruments and new experiences/resources.
