Kia ora, my name is Gunta, and I provide a loving home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home in the Blenheim Central area.
I am a friendly, understanding person who values individuality and celebrates the diversity of personalities. My background includes babysitting. Becoming a mum has deepened my appreciation for the importance of the early years—being present in the moment allows for strong connections and rich learning opportunities. I want to offer this same nurturing environment to other children, building a small community where my daughter and her peers can grow up together, forming secure and lasting relationships.
Outdoors and nature are central to my teaching practice. I provide a child-led programme that encourages creativity, exploration, and play. Alongside our home-based experiences, we also enjoy Nurture@Home’s regular excursions, including Playschool, NatureFocus, Gym, and Multigenerational Music sessions.
I hold a current First Aid Certificate and a full driver’s licence, and I am excited to begin study towards the Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. I look forward to continuing to grow my knowledge and understanding as I develop in my role as an Educator.
