Kia ora, I am Aimee from Nurture@Home, and I provide quality education and home childcare in the Enner Glynn area.
I believe it is important to establish good routines and boundaries to promote a secure, loving, calm environment where children can grow & learn confidently at their own pace. I ensure the children know I am there if they need me, so that they are able to explore with confidence, knowing I am always available to support and guide them.
I am a loving mum to my own two children and have completed the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4), a Level 4 certificate in nursing, first aid certificate, child protection training and have many years’ experience as a carer including several years as a home-based educator with Nurture@Home. My background in caregiving, and my experience as a mum, has given me empathy and understanding to support parents leaving their child in care. I am organised, kind, calm, caring and patient and form respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and their families.
I offer an active programme of activities for children in my care; including NatureFocus, music groups, craft activities and outings that are tailored to the children’s needs and abilities.
