Kia ora, my name is Alice and I provide a loving home-based childcare service through Nurture@Home in the Whitney area. I am a nurturing and thoughtful early childhood educator with a deep passion for supporting children in their most formative years. I believe the early years—especially the first 1000 days—are foundational in shaping confidence, emotional security, and a lifelong love of learning. Inspired by Montessori principles and attachment-based care, I see each child as capable, curious, and deserving of respect. I offer a holistic, relationship-focused approach that supports children emotionally, physically, and intellectually. My goal is for each child to feel deeply seen, safe, and supported to thrive.
In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, sewing, arts and crafts, and DIY projects. I love cooking and baking nourishing food, gardening, and involving children in these everyday experiences. I also enjoy walking, strength training, and spending quality time with my family.
